What a well thought-out, informative and entertaining piece…..if your readership happens to be in the coveted 5 to 8 consumer age demographic! The only half-interesting points you made in this piece of shite are that fire’s hot, and don’t ride pools in burned-down houses too early. Nothing I didn’t already know. I agree with Ben, though. This should be in the mag. Ryan’s ass-ramblings on colored glossy are never any better than this, so you can kill two billion brain cells with one stone, right?

The bean and I were lucky enough to do the same in San Bernardino when we were working at Point X camp back in 04′. There was a huge fire that took out several neighborhoods and we rode as many pools as the daylight would let us. It was sad and awesome at the same time. The thing is most of the houses were in the hills and those people were fucking rich and we’re probably staying in their winter homes while the new one was being built, so fuck it get a sesh while you can. Great post Ryan! Every pool brings a story.
